The Law
Reform Commission of Sierra Leone is an independent body
established under the law reform commission of Decree of
1994 and amended in 1996
MANDATE
The Law Reform Commission is established to provide the
legal framework necessary for optimal operation of
Government, its departments and agencies, public and private
sector concerns as well as improving national development
and welfare.
This is done by keeping under review through public
consultation and participation, all the law, both statutory
and otherwise in force in Sierra Leone, from time to time
for the purpose of their reform, development, consolidation
and codification
